Visiting hours
Update
The Sacra is open to visitors from Tuesday 2 February at the following times:
Monday – Friday 9.30 am – 4.30 pm
Saturday closed
Sunday and public holidays access is permitted only for the Holy Mass at 12:00 pm.
Summer time – from March to October
- From Monday to Sunday: all-day opening 9.30 am – 5.30pm (Sunday from 11.15 am to 1 pm entry only for the Saint Mass).
- Public holidays: (Easter Monday, 25th April, 1st May, 2nd June): all-day opening 9.30 am – 6.30 pm.
- 15th August: all-day opening 9.30 am – 6.30 pm (from 11.15 am to 1 pm entry only for the Saint Mass).
JULY AND AUGUST: from Monday to Sunday all-day opening 9.30 am – 6.30 pm.
Winter time – from November to February
- From Monday to Saturday: all-day opening 9.30 am – 4.30 pm.
- Sunday & 1st November, 8th December, 1st January, 6th January: all-day opening 9.30 am – 4.30 pm (from 11.15 am to 1 pm entry only for the Saint Mass).
- 25th December: 9.30 am – 12.00 pm / 2.30 pm – 4.30 pm (from 11.15 am entry only for the solemn Christmas Mass)
Winter Closure
- The Sacra di San Michele will be closed from 11 to 22 January 2021 included, except for the Holy Mass at 12.00 on 17th January 2021.
